Sid Larson

Educator and horseman, Sid’s equine background began during his youth in Southeastern Minnesota where his parents raised purebred and part bred Arabians. Since then Sid has expanded his knowledge to many of the stock breeds and holds judges cards for Paint, Pinto, POA and Buckskin. He has judged 6 National or World Championship shows in these divisions. In 2007, Sid was inducted into the Pinto Judge’s Hall of Fame. His wide range of expertise and open attitude toward all breeds has made him a highly sought after judge for "all breed" shows.

As a team, Juli and Sid work together to maintain the success of Fox Hollow Farm. At home, Sid is often responsible for the younger horses that are just beginning their careers. His calming and patient manner makes a horse’s first experiences under saddle positive and productive. As a full-time educator, Sid’s insights on teaching and instruction of those with different learning styles have influenced riding instruction and coaching at Fox Hollow Farm. This instruction is given in such a way that riders can understand and achieve the highest level of proficiency.
